Kreativ Blogger Award!

Wow, I was just given this Kreativ Blogger Award by Coupons and Craziness & Frugal Mom of 3 Boys! Thanks Julie and Veronica!!

Okay, so here are some rules that I need to follow since I’m accepting this award:

1. Place the logo on the blog.
2. Link to the person who nominated the blog for this award.
3. Name 7 things about yourself that people might find interesting.
4. Nominate 7 Kreativ Bloggers.
5. Post links to the 7 blogs you nominate.
6. Leave a comment on each of the blogs letting them know they have been nominated.

So here are seven (7) things everyone probably doesn’t know about me, and of course, isn’t listed in my About Me page (but now will be!!):

1.) I’ve lived in Texas, California, and now North Carolina, but I’ve always wanted to live in Seattle! Don’t ask why, because I don’t know why. I think I saw a commercial when I was younger or something, but I’m drawn to the fact that it has lots of trees and lots of rain. I love the rain!!

2.) I play the cello. Yes, it is like the violin but larger. I’ve played since I was in 6th grade, but I have to admit, I haven’t played in a few years! So maybe I should change this to, I know HOW to play the cello!

3.) I’m currently working on a Masters program online. Just started it this summer, and loving it!!

4.) I’m a reality show addict. It is kind of like people watching at the airport or mall, but with more drama! And you don’t feel too embarrassed when people look back at you with a mean look for staring.

5.) I have become addicted to entering giveaways. I’ve won a label maker, pearl earrings so far (5 pairs to be exact!), as well as some makeup. If you follow me on Twitter, please excuse all the tweets I send out. I just love stumbling on a giveaway and entering. I think that is why I have started giveaways on this site, so you all can join in on the fun!

6.) I love traveling and have been to many countries including Canada, Mexico, Morocco, England, Egypt, France, Spain, and Iraq (pre-war). I want to visit Russia or Japan next. Thanks to couponing, I’ve got some money already saved!!

7.) I tend to ramble alot (see what I’m talking about at #1-6 above) while writing/typing.

So now, I have to nominate 7 bloggers…hmmm….

1.) Su Soutter @ The Intentional Home—I just took a coupon class with her. My first, but not my last, and her blog is great. She hosts coupon classes in Raleigh as well as a Menu Planning and Freezer Cooking class. I’m definitely going to that one. Who thought you could go to a class like that?

2.) The Coupon Mommie—she is a really nice lady and we usually tweet or email each other all the time like we’ve been friends for 20 years! She has a coupon blog with some great giveaways of her own, and has deals to Kroger, CVS, Walgreens, Ingles, and Food City. She even has a list of the Kroger Catalinas! I like the fact that she posts her deals with pictures!

3.) Madame Deals—these two gals run this frugal site and host great giveaways too. They also have a Coupon Workshop (in Virginia) and a list of items you can get rebates for!  They also provide recipes and shopping tips.

4.) Saving Cents with Sense---just as the name implies! Melissa posts some great deals across the country, and also provides coupon matchups to Albertson’s, Fry’s, Safeway, and Sprouts. She has a little chat box on her site so if you have a question, you can ask her there, and she will respond in real time! It is also a great place to hang out when the OldNavyWeekly.com site is about to refresh, and everyone chats about the hiding places! And thank her for the Target matchups on my site.

5.) Saving Sherry—Sherry supplies my Kroger matchups, and blogs about coupon matchups for Kroger, Meijer, Target, and the drugstores. She has a really cute pig overflowing with money!

6.) A Shopper’s Quest—Katie has all the coolest giveaways, from jewelry to perfume to kids stuff. She also posts some coupon matchups as well to Lowes Foods and lives in the Charlotte area.

7.) Ordinary and Awesome—Sara writes up some wonderful funny posts, and even has a section devoted to stars who look alike! Some of them really look like twins!  She has a playlist that she posts as well as discussing current TV shows, reality shows (my fav), and everything in between. Sara also redesigns blogs (and is accepting orders now) and hosts her own giveaways and reviews!

Okay, so that was a pretty long post, but I think I got everything that I needed to get to accept this award!
